Day 18: Something You Bought

Day 18, January 18, 2012: 

SOMETHING YOU BOUGHT

I woke up this morning thinking there was no way I was going to buy something today. But, I did. 

Nick got me a sewing machine for my birthday. I haven't used it yet because I wanted to take the classes that are offered by the retailer first. I haven't taken any classes yet because I've had a cold and wanted to be able to enjoy the classes sans cold and I also needed something to transport my sewing machine. My cold is gone, so that just left me with the no-carrying-case dilemma. Meissner Sewing is so close to my work, though, that I couldn't resist popping over there on my lunch break today. Dilemma solved.  

This little trolley reminded me of a vintage Airstream. Plus, as the sales lady mentioned, it was featured in Threads magazine last year, so there's that too.   

PS - I saw the cutest license plate frame in the parking lot of Meissner's. On the top it showed "I Heart Fabric" and on the bottom it read "Sew What?" Ha ha... I love it!
